Haerenga 2014

On the second term our three main class rooms went on a haerenga to Omaru reserve
we learned a lot of useful knowledge about nature,we learned how they grow and how they live and what sort of healthy food those plants need.

I was pretty amazed how they live with a bit of bark around them
the bark keeps them warm and dry,so while it rains down the bark can give them a bit of water
because if there is to much water they wont be able to grow properly

The trees need to be cared for so when they grow there back will grow straight as they go
so now i know why sometimes the tree grows sideways
